the book

i keep the book for years
and it stays in my pocket
sleeping

i keep the book in vain
the only one i can read
is the title

i keep the book to unlock my dreams
but i can never touch it

then one
i can never understand
shattered me too deep
and put a hollow under my chest

its the story i wish to find out for years
in every line, in every passage written

it lays closer than my heartbeat
side to side
with nuace boundary between my sanity

but it always locked
and the key is burried deeper
inside

i keep it beside me
tho' it's always evading the chain i have been given

i keep the book beside me still
it stays
but only the cover

aku mau keluarkan jantungku

berdetak sendiri di tengah hutan

tanpa nyawa
tanpa raga
cuma asa

aku mau keluarkan teriakku
ditengah ladang
disebar angin angin beku
yang datang dan pergi tanpa pamit



daripada hanyut di tengah pasang
dibawa air asin dan tawar yang kian bertikai

daripada busuk teronggok di dasar segara
dihindari ikan dilewati arus

jantungku beracun
nafasku berbisa

sekali ucap kataku tajam
usah belati sembilu diasah
darah pun pecah sendiri

aku tinggalkan jantungku
sendirian tanpa raga
